The Buffalo Bills have had a couple of news worthy mentions as to where they are going to make a move and trade in the draft or if they will stay at their appointed number 9 spot.
NFL.coms Charles Davis just looked at a couple of teams that should think about making a move and jumping higher in the top 10, Buffalo is one of them.
Charles Davis had the bills taking Mike Evans at the number 9 spot but thinks that this is too far for the Bills to sit and wait for Evans to drop. Davis believes that Evans will be a top 7 pick in this years draft.
I have Evans going to the Bills at No. 9 in my most recent mock draft, but given the buzz around the Texas A&M wide receiver right now, waiting for him at No. 9 might be a recipe to miss out on landing him. The draft’s top wide receiver, Sammy Watkins, is unlikely to slide past the Browns at No. 4, and Evans probably won’t last much longer – if the Bucs stay at No. 7, he could be their guy. Buffalo should be looking to move ahead of Tampa Bay.
I don’t think that the Bills move up for Evans. If Buffalo moves up it is for Clowney and no other. If Mike Evans is gone at No. 9, then the Bills will either look at TE or OT and take the best available out of those two positions; Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan, or Eric Ebron. I think that Bills go OT at 9 if Evans is gone and TE in the second, possibly Sefarian-Jenkins.
