Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Bills were sold to an unnamed Los Angeles businessman for an undisclosed amount earlier this morning. The sale of the team happened shortly after 4 a.m. ET.

It will have to wait and been seen if the team will be moved to Los Angeles, pending league approval, or if they will continue to stay in Buffalo.  If the team is to move the Los Angeles, and it is anytime before 2019, it will be quite expensive as there is a 400 million dollar price tag to break the contract prior to 2019.  The penalty drops to 28+ million after this date, and also leaving only 3 years on the contract at this point.

According to league sources,

“We wanted to do what was best for the fans. Ralph would have wanted it this way.”

, a saddened Russ Brandon mentioned, before slipping out of team offices in his recently-polished black limo.

“I couldn’t believe it, but I do love the heat”

stated punter Brian Moorman. Other Bills were much more elated by the news.

“I always wanted to live in Florida!”

exclaimed Wide Receiver Stevie Johnson.

Right now preparations are being made for a final send off tailgate party, which will most likely be held at Ralph Wilson Stadium since no other venue seemed reasonable. A $20 donation is being asked of all fans that attend to help cover relocation costs.

Happy April Fools Everyone!
