Kenny Britt made a free agency visit to the Buffalo Bills almost a week ago. A report from both Britt and his agent stated that there would be a decision made over the weekend. Well my friends, the weekend has come a gone and we are now on top of another weekend.
The latest news from Camp Britt is that Rams GM Les Snead is confident by more than 50% that Britt will be signing with the Rams. Teams that still remain in the race are the Bills, Patriots, Redskins and the Rams.
If Kenny Britt decides to move on to a different team, do the Buffalo Bills look at the next best possible wide recevier on the market or do they wait for the draft and take either Mike Evans or Sammy Watkins?
After Britt, receivers still on the free agent market are Sidney Rice, Santonio Holmes and Miles Austin. Would one of these players fit in and compete for what would be the #2 or #3 spot against Robert Woods? Miles Austin would really be the only one from these three that I would look at based on size and his down-sized production that occurred last year, the Bills could possibly put together a similar contract for Austin that they offered Britt.
There also is a rumor out there that the Miami Dolphins are still trying to shop Mike Wallace around and see what could pop up for him. Is Wallace the dominate recevier that the Bills are looking for? What would the Bills have to give up to get Wallace, if the Dolphins would even trade him to us?
There are a lot of questions that could come out of Bills camp regarding the wide recevier position and if it will be addressed both in free agency and the draft or just one of the two. Kenny Britt, we are waiting on you.
