Prayers For Jim Kelly

As Bills fans continue their offseason with the rebuilding and finally seeing Andre Reed get voted into the Hall of Fame they now have to deal with a terrible heartbreak. Jim Kelly who earlier had recently beaten his battle with cancer has now been told its back. When the news came out it had fans instantly upset and hoping for the best.

Kelly has been one of the staples of this team let alone city for years now. A hall of famer and without question the best quarterback to ever suit up for the Bills is now going to be in one of the biggest fights of his life. With reports of the cancer coming back and also reports saying its spreading Jim and his family are hoping for the best as is all of his supporters.

Jill his wife has been by his side from the beginning and no question will always be there throughout it all. Something Jill had posted on Instagram that I noticed was before Jim went in for another MRI he gave his cross necklace to his wife to wear. Her thought, belief and prayer for her husband paired with God would help Jim overcome this and progress.

As we all wait to see what happens with Jim nothing but prayers and good thoughts are from many. Amongst the people thinking about Jim are also his teammates from the glory years as some call it. Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Ruben Brown and Steve Tasker are a few that have all voiced concerns and best wishes for Jim and his family. Whether you like him or not it’s a rough time for many in the western New York area. Nothing but the best for Jim and the family.
