2014 Super Bowl: Coverage Notables

This year the Super Bowl will have another first attached to it.  It will be the first outdoor, cold weather, open air stadium.  Before this every other Super Bowl has been played in pristine conditions, under a dome in 70+ degree weather.

This year the Super Bowl festivities will happen in what is one of the more recent, severe cold weather winters.  There is an artic front that will test festivity goers for the rest of the week. As for kickoff, the weather looks to be somewhat manageable as it will be in the low 30s at the start of the game with it lowering to the mid 20s later in the game.  For us in the northeast, this would be considered a heat wave for what we have been dealing with lately.

Date: February 2nd, 2014.  (Groundhog Day)

Where: Met Life Stadium, New Jersey.

Kickoff will be at 6:25 pm.

The game will be televised on the Fox Network and will featured Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as the announcers for the game.

The National Anthem will be performed by Opera Singer, Renee Flemming.

For this years halftime show, Bruno Mars will be performing.

You can check out other events that will be occurring during the week of Super Bowl and before the game.
