Reports through league sources have surfaced that current Bills Defensive Coordinator Mike Pettine will interview for the Browns head coaching job.

Pettine, a well-respected coach and person in the league has shown what he’s capable of and now may have the chance to move up the ranks. Known mostly for his aggressive style he has always seemed to have a great scheme and in turn have dominate defenses.

In his short time in Buffalo I would imagine many would hate to see him go as this defense vastly improved from last season. His knowledge of the game and what he has been through has helped him considerably in his career.

The Bills would be ok with it if he was indeed granted the job. It has been said in the past by Russ Brandon that if a higher position could be had that they would let that person take it and move on because of how seldom those chances are available. The interview is scheduled for tomorrow.
