With the 2013 season coming to an end this week, there are a couple things that we as fans can begin to look at. The first and foremost is the draft that is coming up in April. Second is the playoffs and the Superbowl. The third thing is the schedule and who the Buffalo Bills will be playing and their possible outcomes for next year.
The schedule has not bee set yet but the opponents have just about been determined. The last two opponents for the Bills, and any other team, is based on the place that they and the other teams finish in their respective divisions.
As of right now the main portion of the schedule looks like this:
Home: Dolphins, Patriots, Jets, Chiefs, Chargers, Packers, Vikings.
Away: Dolphins, Patriots, Jets, Broncos, Raiders, Bears, Lions.
As you can see there are two games missing. These are the games that are based on the standings finish. As of right now if the Bills finish in 4th place, they will face the Cleveland Browns at Home and the Houston Texans Away for their final two games.
If the Bills beat the Patriots and the Jets lose to Miami, then the Bills will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Home and the Jacksonville Jaguars Away.
As of the last two games, which is the better match-up for the Bills?
This year it may be the 4th place finish, but a year can make a big difference in the NFL for any team. We will have to wait and see what develops for everyone over the course of the off-season.
