2014 Mock Draft: The Buffalo Bills Select...

This week we will be taking a look at Erik Lambert’s pick in his mock draft for the Buffalo Bills.

Lambert has the Buffalo Bills picking in the 9th spot, in between the Vikings and the Titans.  Lambert has the Bills taking Khalil Mack, OLB – Buffalo.  While I like Mack, I personally don’t think the Bills have an immediate need here and what I see as wasting a pick on an OLB especially in the first round, would not be my first choice.  I am still pushing for Mike Evans in the first round.

This is what Erik Lambert had to say on his pick for the Bills.

Not only is it a popular pick among other mock drafts, it’s one that makes sense.  A hometown product, Khalil Mack is well known to Buffalo Bills fans.  He can do everything at the linebacker position from coverage to rushing the passer.  The Bills need all of that.

For most of the mock drafts, I have seen the ‘experts’ picking a linebacker or an O-line for the Bills.  Either, the fans of Buffalo don’t what what their team needs, or the experts are just looking at stats on paper, and even then the Bills still don’t need a linebacker in the first round.

Check out the other picks that Lambert had for the rest of the NFL.
