Buffalo Bills: Something to play for!

For the Buffalo Bills, there is little to play for this late in the season when the playoffs are not in range and they really can’t play spoiler for another team.

The Bills have two AFC East opponents remaining, the Dolphins and the Patriots.

As Bills fans we have seen records, of the negative kind, consistently pile up for the Bills, i.e. longest playoff drought.  The Bills have an opportunity to break a negative streak with the 2 games remaining.  The can finish above .500 in the division.

This would be a very positive ending point to what is going to be a losing season.  They also could finish with a 7-9 record, something that they have not done since 2008.  They also have the possibility of finishing in 3rd place in the division.  This is something that they have not been able to do since  2007 where they went 7- 9 and finished in 2nd place.  The Buffalo Bills have finished in last place of the division 8 out of the last 13 seasons.

These are all little things that the Bills can improve and build on.  Something to shoot for and play for.  This is the time to break the streaks and turn things around.

I think the Bills will beat the Dolphins again this season, this time in Buffalo. The Bills played well enough earlier this year and beat the Phins in Miami. Miami just had an emotionally charged win over the Pats. Miami will play flat and Buffalo will take advantage on both sides of the ball. This will be an ambush game for Miami and I expect the Bills to defeat the Phins…..23-19

We can go 1-1 or 2-0 the rest of the way. I see both games as tightly fought.Miami, since we beat them once, we can do it again. The Pats won the 1st game and since then they are not the Pats of years past. Age is creeping up kind of fast on Brady. He has shown a dark side when this go wrong, such as anger, finger pointing and just a loss of control. Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part, but Brady and the Pats seem beatable more than ever. Both games will be entertaining and finger’s crossedd types of games. We can win out, BUT………?? GO BILLS!!
