Buffalo Bills in Toronto

Today’s game marks the 8th time that the Buffalo Bills will play in Toronto since the start back in 2008.

The Buffalo Bills played twice tin 2008 with a preseason game and a mid-December game.  The preseason game was a good start for the Bills in Toronto as they came away with a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, 24-21.  They lost later in the season against the Miami Dolphins 16-3.   Over the next 5 years, until 2012, the Buffalo Bills played in Toronto 5 more times, 4 regular season games and 1 preseason game.  Of those games, the Bills won the preseason game and 1 of the regular season games.  The win came against the Washington Redskins in 2011 with a 23-0 win.

The Buffalo Bills have not had the best of records when it comes to playing in Toronto.  With the 2 preseason wins and a regular season win they are technically 3-4 in Toronto.  But we all know that preseason games mean absolutely nothing when it comes to making the playoffs so really a 1-4 record in Toronto is one that the Bills will have to work on and they will have to start today, if they have any hope of making the playoffs.

Atlanta is struggling so maybe this is just what the Bills need to turn this “home” game series around.
