Ten/Oak Match-up: What it means for the Bills

Unlike the previous two games that we have looked at, the Bills have not and will not play either of the teams.  They are unable to control their destiny against these two teams and will need help.

Both of these teams are sitting at 4-6.  Offensively, both of these teams are pretty much equal, although the Raiders are the dominate team on the ground.

The next three games for each of these teams will not be easy.  The Raiders will face off against the Cowboys, the Jets, and the Chiefs.  The Titans will take on the Colts, Broncos, and the Cardinals.

The Raiders have the easier schedule and could ultimately go 3-1 with a win today.  The Titans would be sitting with a 1-3 record with a loss today.

Ultimately, we would like to see the Jets and Miami lose every week.  Any team that is 4-6 can have a 4-2 record for their remaining games and still not make the playoffs and allow the Bills to not worry about a head to head tie-breaker or any other tie-breaker for that matter.

I think based on schedule still to come I would like to see the Titans win this game and have a potential 2-2 record after the 4 games along with the Raiders.  This looks to be the best possible outcome and most beneficial for the Bills.

Titans win.  28-24.
