Reed's up Again!

Yesterday the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the top 25 semifinalists for the induction into the Hall of Fame.  Andre Reed again has made it to the top 25.

Last year Reed was passed by and had to wait another year.  It is another year though and Reed is here waiting, again.

The vote will then take the top 25 players and reduce the number to the top 15 modern-era players.  A mail in ballot will be conducted to determine the who makes it to the top 15.

Reed is a 7 time Pro Bowl selection.  He has amassed 951 receptions and 13,198 yards in his 16 year career.  He also tallied 87 touchdowns during that time as well.

Is this Reed’s year?

Reed has made it to the top 25 before and he will again.  Will he be part of the induction party?  It is tough to say.  Other WRs that Reed has to go up against this year are Tim Brown and Marvin Harrison.  I think Reed beats out Brown to make the top 15 but I think Harrison is inducted and Reed has to wait one more year.

The Hall of Fame committee will make their selections on February 1st, 2014, the day before the Super Bowl.  They will announce it at a live show later that evening.
