EJ Manuel to start on Sunday

Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone confirmed that EJ Manuel will start Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. “EJ wasn’t sore or anything yesterday. That was the one thing we were waiting for,” Marrone said Thursday. “Barring any setbacks, both he and Thad [Lewis] are ready. Obviously EJ has taken the majority of snaps, so we’re planning on him going.”
The Bills are finally getting healthy. It doesn’t look like Robert Woods will be ready for Sunday’s game but Stevie Johnson, Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller are all looking much healthier than they were a couple of weeks ago.
The Bills are heading into the easier part of their schedule for the second half of the season, so hopefully they can put a few wins together and give everybody some meaningful games through November and December.
With some winnable games coming up and the Bills getting healthy for this stretch the Bills are starting to look like the team that was supposed to start the season. A playoff birth is a long shot with the Bills record as it stands right now, but we should be able to see how this Bills team can come together and at least get a feeling for what we can expect for next year.
