The Bills have always been known as a one half team, at least in the past couple of years.  They either start out strong in the beginning and lose it in the end or they struggle to stay in it early and then are playing catch-up.

We really could be talking about either games or seasons, when looking at the Bills.

Today we are talking about the season.  The Bills are half way through the 2013-14 season and are staring down at the Chiefs who come into town this week at 8-0.

For the rest of the season, ESPNs Mike Sando broke down the remaining schedules and the Bills happen to fall in the top 5 for easiest remaining schedules.  The actually come in at number 4.

“Easiest remaining strength of schedule: #Lions .345, #Packers .403, #Seahawks .407, #Bills .417, #Bengals .421, #Jaguars .424, #Titans .433″.

Fourth is pretty good for the Bills and even better for their playoff hopes.  They first need to get past the Chiefs and then 3 more division games later on.  They need 7 of their remaining 8 games as wins to have the greatest possibility for a playoff shot, 10-6.

The Bills actually back into the number 1 spot for the easiest strength of schedule for road games.  Mike Sando also provided this information.

“Easiest SOS for remaining road opponents: #Bills .267, #Redskins .267, #Dolphins .300, #Lions .345, #Cardinals .400, #Texans .400″.

This is excellent news for the Bills and their fans, this provides a glimmer of hope.  They just need to cash in on it.
