Buffalo Bills Sign Matt Flynn

Earlier today, the Bills learned that their starting QB (filling in for the injured EJ Manuel) is injured himself. Thad Lewis has a sprained foot, and is day to day. The Bills, in case Lewis can not go, signed a former Seahawk, Packer and Raider in Matt Flynn. Flynn who was recently released by the Raiders, started one game in place of Terrelle Pryor. Flynn threw for 227 yards, a TD, and a pick. The Raiders ultimately lost to the Redskins that game. If Flynn does start for the Bills this Sunday at Miami, expect some struggles. Flynn proved that he could go off, as he did in a week 17 game with the Packers. Flynn threw for 480 yards and 6 TDs. However, Flynn knew the Packers offense, while he does not know the Bills offense, obviously.

Some ask, why not Jeff Tuel? Tuel came in for the injured Manuel against the Browns. He was clearly unprepared, and head coach Doug Marrone punished him. Tuel will most likely be the backup for Sunday’s game if Lewis can not go. However, Thad Lewis is expected to play, but you never know.

I personally think the Bills should have signed Tim Tebow instead! Just kidding…. What do you think of the Bills signing Flynn? Sound off in the comments below.
