Buffalo Bills Vs Cincinnati Bengals; Champs and Chumps

The Cincinnati Bengals headed up to Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo to play the Bills, who are currently without EJ Manuel and Stevie Johnson. The Bills eventually managed to push the game into OT and ultimately lost 27-24. There were many top performers and slackers in the game. These are the Champs and Chumps of the week 6 matchup between Bills and Bengals

  • Kiko Alonso

Twenty two total Tackles enough said.

  • Da’Norris Searcy

Searcy had a very unnoticed but great game for the Bills including his one monster hit on Dalton and his total 16 tackles (13 Solo).

  • Thad Lewis

The former Duke quarterback Thad Lewis did an amazing job filling in for the injured EJ Manuel. Lewis ended the game with 216 yards and 2 touchdowns while not throwing a single interception.

  • Vontaze Burfict

While the Bengals were pretty horrendous on defense as you will read later in my article, Vontaze Burfict lead the defense with 11 tackles (8 Solo). Burfict seemed to be the only Bengal who came to Ralph Wilson Stadium to play defense.

  • CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson

Only mustering a combined 90 combined  yards they were almost no factor in this game.

  • The whole Bengals Defense

Besides a few good plays the Bengals were terrible on defense as the back up QB Thad Lewis managed to rip apart the Bengals defense.

Honorable Mention for Chump-

  • Doug Marrone’s call on the one yard line to go for it on 4th down in the 2nd quarter.
