What’s next for the Buffalo Bills?

Coming off a tough loss that puts the Bills with a 2-3 record and only a 21% chance of making the playoffs we look at what is next for them.

The Bills have a long week and that is a very good thing at this point.  EJ Manuel has been ruled out for a couple of weeks with an LCL ligament strain.  Not good.  This leaves Jeff Tuel as the only QB on the roster.  Marrone has stated that they are looking to bring in another QB.

“We’re looking to bring in another quarterback,” Marrone said. “We’re in the process of that right now going through the names, going through the tape. (Bills GM) Doug (Whaley) is upstairs and I’m going up there to get involved in the process.”

There is also the possibility of the new QB starting as well.

“No, that’s not a stretch,” said Marrone of a new quarterback signing starting next week. “I think it all depends on who it is and what we get and what their background is in their system.”

Other news shows that Dustin Hopkins is planing on returning this week to practice.  The Bills secondary will also be getting a big boost as well.  Jarius Byrd will be back this week and ready to play.  He was ready to play Thursday but was held out.  Ron Brooks and Stephon Gilmore are both set to return to the practice field this week.

This will definitely help the Bills on the field against the Bengals next Sunday and give the team a boost, especially with the loss fo EJ at this point.
