Q&A with Dawg Pound Daily

This week for our Q&A we went to Dawg Pound Daily and talked with Editor and Chief Steve DiMatteo.  This is what Steve had to say…

1. Brian Hoyer has taken over for Weeden and been successful.  Do you see the Browns moving back with their first round draft pick anytime soon?

I don’t believe the Browns will move back with that first pick at all – if anything, they’re still planning on moving up to get their guy. Hoyer is really going to have to play well the entire season for the team to consider making him the starter next season because, let’s face it, Weeden’s career with the Browns is just about over.

2. The Browns have been successful in their last two games.  What changes have they made to come out with wins?
A lot of their recent success comes down to Hoyer commanding the offense, but the Browns’ defense is downright suffocating. With a front seven that gets pressure on the quarterback and halts the running game, it adds up to a couple strong wins.

3. Who is flying under the radar that the Bills should watch out for this coming Thursday?
I don’t know if he counts as being under the radar (probably not) but look out for rookie Barkevious Mingo. He has been all over the field in the last two games and could be in for another big game.

4. What are three keys for the Bills to come out with a win against the Browns this week?
If the Bills are going to win, they have to somehow figure out a way to run the ball. Joe Haden is going to lock up Steve Johnson, and Buffalo has to find offense somewhere else.

5. What is your prediction for the Bills/Browns game?

Browns inexplicably go on a three-game winning streak, squeaking by the Bills 20-17.
