Week 5 will have the Bills taking on the Browns on Thursday night. Both teams are 2-2 and have showed signs of playing good football. Will it last for both or will one take it to that next level?
Players that will be in the lineup tonight that people were keeping an eye on: CJ Spiller and Leodis McKelvin. This I believe will help the Bills as now maybe Williams can cover the Browns tight end Jordan Cameron. We will see what Pettine has in mind for his defense.
CJ playing is also a plus for this team. Even if he’s not heavily in the game plan whenever he’s on the field the opposition will have to keep an eye on him. I think if he can get going early it will open up a lot in the passing game.
Byrd on the other hand is inactive again. To me this is getting ridiculous as it continues with his injury. Will he play again or is this going to play out for the year? If it goes on for another couple weeks, I think he doesn’t play for the rest of the year.
Tonight can be the night EJ proves to a lot that he has what it takes. I think whenever he has the chance to hit the deep ball or even the for sure throw it can’t be missed. This defense can play and will make you pay if you can’t convert.
Looking at what this means for the Bills I think they come out with the win. Losing this week will make that game last week worth nothing. My prediction is Bills 24-14.
