It is true that it’s only October and the game is in Cleveland, but it’s hard for Bills fans like myself not to love watching our beloved team under the lights engaged in prime time NFL action. After a hard fought win over Baltimore, the Bills head to the mistake on the lake for Thursday night football.
I find it hard to believe that many NFL fans would figure this to be a game. However, both teams are coming in with momentum. The Browns have won two straight, while Buffalo knocked off the defending Superbowl Champions; picking off Joe Flacco five times. Both teams have rookie head coaches, along with new quarterbacks. Yes, Brian Hoyer may be a veteran, but it marks his first season in a Brown’s uniform.
The Bills come in banged up, as they have all season, with fans not completely sure who will be in at running back, corner back, safety, ect. Cleveland comes in with a depleted backfield with the subtraction of Trent Richardson, via a trade with the Colts, along with the addition of former Bills running back Willis McGahee.
