Bills Bulletin

Throughout the season I wanted to start something that covers questions/highlights/news and transactions. Bills bulletin will let you know everything for the week leading up to the following game.

This week we had a lot of firsts and personally I think this team did very well. Although we didn’t win the signs were there that this team has pieces in place that will continue to progress.

Aside from the good things the Bills however have some bad luck in the way of injuries. Both Marquise Goodwin (hand) and Ron Brooks (foot) both required surgery. There are questions still waiting to be answered on how long they will be out and if they will be placed on short term I-R. With this happening the Bills made a move that had them releasing DT Jay Ross and promoting CB from Johnny Adams from their practice squad (signed CB Brandon Smith to practice squad).

This week I would like to see certain players step up and have a much better game then last week when Carolina comes to town. CJ Spiller, Mario Williams and Nigel Bradham come to mind.

This week will also be the Bills Wall of Fame tribute. Participating members will be presented with an honorary Wall of Fame blazer with the logo to celebrate their accomplishments and anything else they may have done within the community. Some players to attend will be Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed.

Lastly when was the last time you heard the name Jeff Tuel? A few weeks ago everyone was saying that he might just start week 1 and now people not knowing the Bills might ask if he is still on the team. It’s funny how things work out isn’t it?
