Report: Jim Leonard Expected To Sign With The Bills

As the Bills continue to get ready for week 1 this coaching staff has said it will be continuously working to improve their roster. Today it seems that they may bring back an old face that could desperately help this team’s secondary. Injuries have hurt this team like many others throughout but the league but the Bills now have a guy that has the experience and can step in and play right away.

Leonard has played in the league since 05 and in that time he has shown he belongs. His stats aren’t going to blow you away by any means but this is a type of  player that is in the right position to make the play or keep QB’s always watching as he lingers in coverage.

Another thing that will have Leonard potentially on the field a lot during the season is his relationship with this team’s new defensive coordinator. Mike Pettine is very familiar with Jim and him knowing this system only helps his situation.

So of couse we will wait to see he if passes his physical but all signs point that he will sign. Does this mean anything for the rookie Jonathan Meeks? I see him as the low man and if more moves come down the road he may be looking for a new team.

Always though those idiots who made decisions back then, frigging blew it with J Leonard!! Since he left we looked slightly above average! But when a team has an arguably decent OC as as an HC that tends to be what you, promise with no delivery!! GO BILLS!!
