Well That Was An Ugly, Scary and Disappointing Game

Normally the 3rd preseason game is the game that most teams play their starters more than others and we see how things are going to go. I hope that’s not the case and never want to see what we did today. I know we are going to be bad at times and have a lot of learning to do but that was a total embarrassment in my opinion.
The Redskins didn’t waste any time driving down the field and scoring a touchdown to take the lead. We had our first teamers out there and Washington was moving the ball with Rex Grossman. He will more than likely never see the field and we made him look like a starter. Defensive pressure was scarce and the Bills did some things that made you go what just happened? I counted three picks that were dropped, a fumble we recovered and basically gave right back and terrible communication that left guy’s wide open and essentially waving to Grossman to say hey I’m open.
The offense didn’t do much better and all I got to say is EJ better be ready. Kevin Kolb was downright terrible before the injury he endured. Running into a sack, over/under throwing passes to his receivers and simply just doesn’t look good in game situations. I know people will hate this but couldn’t Fitz do this? He hasn’t been able to do anything and if he does get something going it doesn’t amount to much. Let’s just say the season would’ve been a disaster if Spiller was seriously injured.
Another thing I want to talk about is Jeff Tuel. I just want people to stop talking like this guy is going to be a good backup or possibly a starter. Did people see how he played today? Not only did he struggle with 1’s and 2’s but in the latter parts of the game it continued. This guy does have some talent but it right now is nowhere near playing in a regular season game. For how many times I heard that plea I hope this showed what he could do seeing how much time he played. I think he will be the third QB on this roster but nothing more.
I know I sound like I can’t stand this team and it’s only a preseason game but its how they lost that makes me go crazy. They didn’t do anything well and for sure the defense I thought would’ve had a better showing. I know the offense wasn’t exactly going to go well with Kolb (my opinion) but from the start nothing. These guys better be ready for week 1 and fix things that need fixing. Oh yea also did I say EJ better be ready?
