As we head into the 3rd week of the preseason, what the Bills have shown us so far is a promising game of football.  We know that the 4th preseason game is the going to be played by the majority of players that are on the bubble and need to get that last look in to make the team.  This means that tomorrow’s game will be for the starters and they will see most of the playing time.  Marrone has said it in the past and continues to say it as well…

"“Again they’ve got to be ready to play the whole game and I tell that to the whole team,” said Marrone. “There will be a point where we’ll look to see where we are with the starters and how far we want to take them. I don’t think it’s a secret. I think most teams usually play them a little bit more. I won’t look at it as far as a unit. I’ll look at it player to player.”"

For the Bills, they look to have all systems go as far as players at the wide receiver and corner back positions.  Both Stevie and TJ are going to play but will be on a limited play count.  Leodis McKelvin will see his first preseason action as will Justin Rogers.  Jarius Byrd is making the trip with the Bills but there is no word as to whether or not he will see game action.

Also gearing up is Mario Williams, who did not play against the Vikings and saw limited action in Indianapolis.

Kolb is on a path to redeem himself and this is the perfect chance for him to make a statement.  It needs to be a loud one as well if he hopes to have any chance of dethroning EJ who will not play for the rest of the preseason.

As far as the Redskins, RG3 is still out and taking the slow path to the regular season.  It is more of a cautious move for Shanahan and RG3 can play but won’t.  The back-up, Kirk Cousins, was injured on Monday Night against Pittsburgh so that means the Bills will see Rex Grossman and Pat White at Quarterback for the Redskins.

So far this preseason, the Redskins have not shown great ball control and look to reign it in.  Shanahan still is looking to play his starters into the 3rd quarter this week, even though they are coming off a short week and his starters played a majority of the time on Monday against Pittsburgh.
