Don’t Forget Its Coach Marrone’s First Game Too

As the Bills had a travel day today that means tomorrow is the first time we will get a look at this team. Over the past week I have read piece after piece on how everyone wants EJ Manuel to start and when he was labeled the starter how people can’t wait to see him play. There’s no doubt he will be in the spotlight but let’s not forget the coach.

Back when he was announced as the 17th head coach in Bills history I had said I thought it was a good move. This team needed to change and not go after a retread coach. In doing so this team will for sure have a brand new look and hopefully we won’t see the same bad tendencies from coaches that have been recycled throughout this league.

Another thing I want to see is if he will indeed keep his word and let his coordinators coach. Marrone came out and made it a point that he will just coach and let the individual coaches take care of the rest. Does he go through with that statement? What if something is called that he doesn’t like and there’s a disagreement? I know this is only a preseason game but I believe it’s the same for these coaches to get ready for week 1.

So as we all wait for the 2013 Bills to take the field for the first time I think this game will be a huge learning experience for everyone. For sure EJ will be watched like a hawk tomorrow but don’t forget if we get the chance to check out Marrone on the sideline and see how he’s taking in his first game.
