Does Anybody Wish Ryan Fitzpatrick Was Still Here?

With the Bills on the verge of finally seeing their potential franchise quarterback play his first game I wonder if this is the right time for this question but here it goes. Does anybody wish Ryan Fitzpatrick was still a member of this team?

I know what a lot of the responses would look like but if you had to compare him to Kolb would that change your mind? Fitzpatrick I thought had some very good games here with the Bills but his inability to finish out games and make the big throws hurt him. In his time he showed to be a durable player and always managed to put up respectable stats in the years that he started. That may be good from an individual standpoint but looking at the W/L results we just needed more. Let’s not forget and place all the blame on him as our defense in recent years hasn’t been exactly what you could even call average.

A reason I would like to see him still here would be because of his teaching capabilities. Being in the league since 2005 Ryan has sure seen his fair share of different defensive looks and that’s something the new rookie needs to learn. Now people will say that the guy we have now Kolb has also has been through the same ordeal. My response to that is does he have the same experience within the division? Ryan knows what these teams will be throwing at the rookie and that extra insight and all the tips will only help EJ.

So in the event that Fitz was only the backup or had to go in because of an injury I would no question like to see him back here. What about everyone else. Would you want him back? Let’s hear what you have to say.
