Alex Carrington Impresses At Camp

With the Bills counting down until their first preseason game there are still some positions up for grabs. Players are fighting for that starting role and also just to be a part of this team. One guy that will not have any trouble making the team is Alex Carrington.

He has been a bright spot in camp and I’m hoping this will continue into the season. After last year we need to take all the positives and build. Also I think this defense will be better when the line begins to penetrate the opposing team’s backfield to disrupt the play. I know it’s easier said than done but looking back at the last couple of seasons it has proved to be tuff for this team. New defensive coordinator Mike Pettine looks to have these guys ready to go and hopes to change our recent struggles.

With Carrington playing like a dominate player in camp this early I think it could carry into the season and his stats may excel. Mario Williams, Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus are guys that will be watched on a constant basis and that might just be the ticket for Carrington to do very well this season. From his play we have seen especially in the scrimmage he seems dialed in stopping plays and causing sacks.

There you have a little on Carrington and if you were able to see him like I did you know what I mean when I say he’s been impressive. He’s definitely going to be a starter and is beginning to look like the guy the Bills seen when they drafted him a few years back in the 3rd round.
