As practice goes on there was one player missing after Kevin Kolb slipped on a rubber mat. His left knee is in question as he stumbled awkwardly. What does this mean if it’s serious?
EJ Manuel and Kolb have been in a battle right out of the gate for the starting QB position. The question as to if EJ would be ready or should the Bills go with the veteran now may not even be in the coaching staffs mindset. I would think more information would be available from the Bills later today but we all remember the Mario Williams ordeal.
If this indeed is anything that will hold Kolb out for an extended period of time what will this team do? Does that mean this team will have Jeff Tuel backup EJ or will they look to sign someone if that was necessary. From reports Kolb looked frustrated and visually upset which leads me to believe this could be bad.
As we wait to hear more I think it will be EJ’s team no matter what moving forward. When more details become available check back with Buffalowdown as we will sure be keeping up with this story.
He was listed as day to day and we’ll see what happens when he returns to practice. Calling it not serious but when it comes to the knee everything has to be looked at to ensure that’s the case.
