Every year, Fantasy Football takes flight. Owners begin to break down who will be the best players and more importantly when to take them and who will be a sleeper or steal in a later round.
For the past couple of years, while looking through the top 30 players, I don’t not recall a Buffalo Bills player ever being there, unless I have put them there as I reorder my draft as to who might be where when I pick.
NFL.com has come out with their top 30 fantasy players. Arian Foster tops the list. With Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch sitting in second and third respectively. Ray Rice and Doug Martin round out the top five.
If you keep scrolling, sitting at the 9th spot is Buffalo’s own C.J. Spiller. In 2012 Spiller put together stats that looked like this: 1244 rushing yards, eight total touchdowns for a total of 172.4 points. He had 459 receiving yards and 2 TDs. His overall points were 212.30 points (points taken for fumbles). His 2013 projections look like this 1322 rushing yards, 10 total touchdowns. Based on your league point system, 1 point per 10 yards and 6 points per TD, his points may look like this, minus passing yards and receiving TDs, 192.2 points. If he equals his passing stats and doesn’t have any points taken away for fumbles, he should be upwards of 250 points for the 2013 season. Definitely a back that should be considered for a starting job on your roster.
