Will this offense be the beginning of something special in Buffalo? This team has trended youth and also will have plenty of speed. These qualities are what I believe you need to begin a power especially in the new NFL.

The Bills in recent drafts have finally begun to build their team around guys that will fit in the new NFL. This team for the longest time signed players on both sides of the ball that had plenty of miles on them and also mid-range veterans. Never really going after anyone until recently and obtaining big name players and also finally looking to change the style and attitude in the locker room.

I think it starts with Russ Brandon getting full control from Ralph. Along with that a new GM in Doug Whaley and head coach Doug Marrone. These changes were vital as the people in the past roles never really did anything out of the box and had this team just playing stale football.

The player’s themselves are what this team needed without question. The most current to join the team are the likes of: EJ Manuel (QB), Robert Woods (WR), Marquise Goodwin (WR), Chris Gragg (TE) and Da’Rick Rogers (WR). Those players from what they accomplished in their college careers have shown they can produce at a high level. Along with those 1st year players you toss in guys like: CJ Spiller, Stevie Johnson, TJ Graham, Fred Jackson, Scott Chandler and a pretty good established offensive line. Looking at what this team has to work with I think it’s a very good start. These guys all seem to have a good head on their shoulders and that’s something I think is overlooked sometimes when looking at prospects. Now I know the Bills have some players that have made bad choices but the Bills have them where they want them in the way of a low risk high reward. Let’s hope good decisions and the willingness to learn and get better every day is always on their minds.

So for now on paper I think this team is looking pretty good for the future. Will all the parts of this offense listed of above play right away? That’s a question we will soon have answered but the future does look good for this team. Anyone agree / disagree? I know people will always say it’s the same old Bills but this time it doesn’t feel that way.
