The Buffalo Bills showing up for OTAs

As each week begins, a new week of OTAs starts as well.  OTAs begin on Tuesdays of each week.  Yesterday, for the Buffalo Bills, saw a couple of new faces for the season and a couple that were able to join the team from what was individual workouts due to injuries.

The biggest note was Marcel Dareus back in action as he skipped last weeks voluntary OTAs and joined the team and began working out with the first team defense. Marcel had this to say…

“I had stuff I had to take care of,” Dareus said, via the team’s website. “As a man, everybody has their responsibility. I had my responsibility I had to take care of.  I did that, and now I’m back here with the guys, working on what we’re going to work on. I stayed in my playbook, stayed in shape. Just came out here ready to run.”

Johnson began working out with the offense this week after working individually and dealing with a strained back.  Erik Pears also came back from a groin injury and joined Sam Young and Chris Hairston at RT.

Another absence that is note-worthy is that of Kyle Williams.  The Buffalo Bills are still waiting on Kyle Williams and his surgery that he had due to a bone spur in his right foot that he had removed in February. Williams talked with Joe Buscaglia from WGR550.com and said…

“Should be training camp. That’s what we would think,”. “Based on the time that the last one took, this one… that’s the reason we said, ‘Hey, let’s just go ahead and do it. We’ve got time to do it, time to get back from it and to hit the ground running.”
