With trading the 8th spot to the St. Louis Rams and seeing Tavon Austin go at that spot, the Buffalo Bills gained 3 additional picks (2nd, 3rd, and 7th) from the Rams.  This puts them at 9 total picks for the draft which is a good spot to be.

With Buffalo sitting at the 16th spot the Buffalo Bills select QB E.J. Manuel out of Florida State.

Manuel finished his collegiate career with 7,741 passing yards, 47 TDs, ad 28 ints.  n 2012 he had 3,397 yds with 23 TDs and 10 ints.

EJ Manuel is the first QB off the board in the 2013 Draft at the 16th spot.  surpassing Geno Smith and Ryan Nassib, who many thought would be reunited with his College coach here in Buffalo.  I know I for one had that thought as well.

I am not completely disappointed with the Manuel pick as EJ is a big guy that has a lot of upside to him and what he will bring to the Buffalo Bills.  He has raw talent that will be able for Coach Marrone and Hackett to mold into the QB that they see is the best fit for the Buffalo Bills.

Manuel is the best QB with a 8.78 yards per pass.
