With the 8th pick and with no major surprise, the Buffalo Bills and the front office has traded their first pick to the St. Louis Rams.  With this trade the Buffalo Bills move back to the 16th pick in the first round.

With the trade they also acquire the Rams’ 2nd round pick at 46th, the Rams’ 3rd round pick at 78th and the Rams’ 7th round pick at 222nd.

This means a lot for the Bills as they have just added 3 more picks to their draft given them a total of 9 picks for the draft, more trade bait as well as 5 picks within the first 3 rounds.

Will the 16th pick be too high to take Nassib or Will the Buffalo Bills look to trade again back farther to maybe the 22nd, or 25th spot to take the Syracuse Quarterback, Ryan Nassib?  Only time will tell at this point.

With this pick the St. Louis Rams selected Tavon Austin.  Austin has been compared to Randall Cobb from the Green Bay Packers.  Did the Buffalo Bills lose out?  I don’t think so.  Buffalo is in prime position to help in more than one postion at this time.
