Browns To Not Sign Breaston

He may not be the biggest name in the world, but according to Mary Kay Cabot of ESPN the Cleveland Browns are unlikely to bring wide receiver Steve Breaston to the team next season. Breaston visited with the team earlier this week.

Breaston, who has put up solid numbers in the past, seemed to be lost in the shuffle in Kansas City this season.  He was released by the Chiefs earlier this month after seeing minimal action this season. He had his worst season of his career, only tallying 74 yards. He will also visit Pittsburgh soon.

This may not be Dwayne Bowe, but Breason would be an addition that wouldn’t cause a team to break the bank and one that has showed in the past that he can produce. With the quality of the wide receivers in Buffalo, they should at least give Breaston a look.
