Bills Meet With Barkley

The Bills were one of three teams to meet with former USC quarterback Matt Barkley at the combine this week. Barkley, who has been the odd guy out in some conversations, seems to be seeing his stock rise as we get closer to the draft.

Barkley is a player that going into the year was the likely first overall pick, but he struggled at points this season. That being said, he is an interesting prospect. Is he worth the first round pick? That’s yet to be seen.

Earlier in the week it was rumored that the Arizona Cardinals likely wouldn’t let him drop past 7th in the draft, so take that for what its worth. That rumor has been heavily disputed as the week has gone along, so Barkley could still be available when the Bills pick. The real question though is if he’s worth it and really a step ahead of the rest of the QB group.
