And another Buffalo Bill defender is shown own this off-season  The team announced that they have cut veteran cornerback Terrence McGee. McGee has been with the team for ten years since being drafted by the team in 2003.

McGee is the third Bills defender to be cut in the past two weeks, following Nick Barnett and George Wilson.

McGee has missed much of the past two seasons with injuries and had lost his starting cornerback job. This roster move puts even more pressure on Stephon Gilmore and Aaron Williams to really develop into starting defensive backs.

The Bills had a historically bad defense last year, so seeing turnover is a positive sign. Even though they may not actually be better by letting go of some of these players, it frees up the cap space and allows for other new players to step into a role. I doubt anyone wants to see a repeat of last year’s defense in 2013-2014.
