Today at 5:30 PM EST, the HOF inductees were announced.  Out of 17 nominees, 15 being modern-day and 2 being senior finalists, the most that could go in would be 7.  For 7 inductees to happen though, both senior member finalists would have to be inducted.

The Bills Andre Reed is up for another year to see if he makes it in to the beloved Hall Of Fame.  Reed also has competition today as Cris Carter and Tim Brown are also up for induction.

The first step in the process is moving from a 15 modern day finalist list to a 10 finalist list.  The top 1o to move on are as follows: Larry Allen, Jerome Bettis, Cris Carter, Charles Hailey, Jonathan Ogden, Bill Parcells, Andre Reed, Warren Sapp, Michael Strahan and Aeneas Williams.

The next process is to reduce the 10 finalist to 5 finalists.

The inductees are as follows:

Larry Allen

Cris Carter

Jonathan Ogden

Bill Parcells

Warren Sapp

Curley Culp*

Dave Robinson*

Culp and Robinson being starred are the two senior inductees to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame.

Andre Reed did not make it and will have to wait it for another year.
