Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Cincinnati Bengals have signed former Bills first overall pick Aaron Maybin to a contract early this morning. The former 2009 Bills first round pick was a free agent after being cut by the New York Jets earlier this season.
Maybin played in parts of two seasons in Buffalo, recording zero sacks in his time with the Bills. He never lived up to expectations and was ruled out as a bust. He had somewhat of a revival in 2011 with the Jets, when he had 11 tackles and 6 sacks. However, he play once again fell of this season. He only played in eight games in New York, recording only one tackle and no sacks.
He has been brought into Cincinatti to play strong side linebacker according to reports. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
