John Murphy: Wilson Most Impressive

In an interview with WGR 550 earlier this week, John Murphy said that of all the quarterbacks he was watching at the Senior Bowl practices Tyler Wilson out of Arkansas looked the most impressive. He also ranked NC State quarterback Mike Glennon ahead of Syracuse’s Ryan Nassib as well.

He called Wilson the most complete of all the quarterbacks preforming. Wilson has been tied to the Bills in the past, and could possibly be drafted as early as the first round.

Many are saying that Nassib has some trouble with the long ball, which could be seen as an issue to many NFL scouts. He’s stock has reportedly been rising of late, and the senior bowl could help make or break him for the draft.

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith decided to pass on the Senior Bowl, something that the first overall quarterback has done the past few years. However Smith has more questions than top quarterbacks in the past, and it is no certainty that he is even the first quarterback taken in the draft.

Also at the Senior Bowl practices are Landy Jones, E.J. Manuel, and Zac Dysert. The game takes place this Saturday at 3:00 pm Eastern and can be watched on the NFL Network.
