Bills add Crossman as Special Team Coordinator

The Bills and Doug Marrone have added a Special teams coordinator, Danny Crossman.

Crossman comes to the Bills with 11 years in the NFL as a coach or assistant.  He has been with the Panthers (9 years), where he was the assistant special teams coordinator as well as assisting the strength and conditioning coach.  The last 2 years he was with the Detroit Lions where he has been the Special Teams Coordinator.

Under the watch of Crossman, Detroit’s Special teams Hanson set a franchise record for points with 134 and John Wendling tied for a record of 51 special teams tackles.

Crossman comes to the Bills with improving the kick return unit in Detroit to the 3rd most improved.  With personnel set up to excel in the special teams area right now, McKelvin and Powell, look for the team to explode with Crossman at the helm.
