Doug Marrone, newly hired head coach of the Buffalo Bills has made his decisions on his right and left hand men. Of Course I am talking about the Coordinators. Yes, both offensive and defensive coordinators have been hired.
The Offensive Coordinator is Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett comes to the Bills from Syracuse following Doug Marrone. He was the Offensive Coordinator for the team as well as the Quarterbacks coach and TE coach. Hackett joining Marrone will only solidify the fact that the Bills will look to take Nassib in the draft as the next Bills Quarterback.
The defensive Coordinator doesn’t have to travel far from where he is at. Buffalo has hired Mike Pettine as the defensive Coordinator. Pettine is coming from the Jets. Rex Ryan stated that he knew Pettine was interviewing for the job and wished him best of luck but didn’t want to see him in Buffalo. This could be taken as a positive nomination for the Bills as the Jets will have to face their own defense twice this coming year. This could be good or bad. The Jets defense did play well against the Bills but did also struggle in the year as well. We will have to wait and see.
