Bills Hire…

The early reports are stating that the Buffalo Bills have hired a coach to replace Chan and his gang.  It is stated that the Bills have come to terms with the former coach of the Orange, Doug Marrone.  Doug Marrone is the former coach for the Syracuse Orange, he was one that was mentioned but not really looked at for the head coaching job by some because of the other better known coaches still available.

Marrone has been with the Saints as the offensive coordinator and the Saints offense was ranked #1 with Marrone.  He was also the Jets O-Line Coordinator in which they were ranked in the top 5.  He took a struggling ‘Cuse team and turned them around.  His total record for head coaching is a 25-25, well under that of Lovie Smith, 81-63.

What does this mean for the Bills in the draft?  With Nassib coming out fo the draft and being one of the better QBs in the draft, look for Buffalo to take a shot at grabbing him.

While I am not thrilled about this decision about the coaches pick, there is some promise and as always we can only wait and see what happens.
