Buffalo Bills Draft Picture

With the season all but over, it is time to start looking toward the draft. The Bills currently hold the sixth pick if the season ended today, and with one week left that is likely the way it is going to stay. One things for sure, you should really be rooting for the team to lose next week against the New York Jets.

The Bills have a 5-10 record, tied with three other teams. Those teams are the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, and the Tennessee Titans. When you look at the week seventeen schedule, two of these teams are almost certain to lose.

The Cardinals take on the San Francisco 49ers, who will be looking to end the season on a good note after last night’s brutal loss to Seattle. Although they have been locked into the playoffs for a while, you don’t want to go into the postseason on a losing streak.

Cleveland heads to Heinz field to take on the Steelers, a truly meaningless game for both teams. Both are eliminated from the playoffs, just playing for pride at this point. However the Browns are the underdog in this one.

Tennessee is facing the Jaguars this week, a game the Titans have the advantage in. If they win they move up with the numerous teams with a 6-10 record, something the Bills shouldn’t want to do.

There are four more teams with a 6-10 record, so the Bills winning this week could mean moving down another few spots. I know it is sometimes hard, but rooting for the team to lose is definitely the way to go for week 17.
