Game Recap: Bills/Rams

What can be said about a team that can’t finish?  Again the Bills did just OK to stay in the game.  The defense held the Rams in the check in the first half and did not let them onto their side of the field.  The offense, however couldn’t capitalize on the numerous chances they had.  True, the weather was not the best to play in but both teams had to play in it, and it showed.  A botched snap on the punt for the Rams and one for the Bills on an extra point that ultimately came back to bite them in the butt.  The throwing game for each team suffered and it showed.  Neither team could stop the run but it seemed the Bills should have been playing better.  The Rams are a better team on paper but had not performed to their ability except when they were playing against the 49ers it seemed.  Buffalo had been underachieving all year and what can be said except for the fact that as of right now they can still improve on their record from last year and begin to look towards next year and the choices that they will make.  It will be interesting to see if the Bills, who can only finish 8-8 this year, an improvement by 2 wins from last year, will make some chances at key areas of starting positions and start to get other players playing time.  Not necessarily giving up but starting to look towards next year and what changes could be made.
