Eric Wood Injury Hurts Bills Chances

The Bills appear to be under a bit of an injury bug, with the most notable injury being Eric Wood. Wood suffered a partially torn MCL last week, an injury that will probably keep him out at least two games. Wood has been injured in each of his four years with the Bills.

One of the Bills strengths, for the first time in a while, has been their offensive line. Wood leads the pack at center, and losing him could really hurt the Bills offense.

Remember last time Wood was injured? It seemed like the Bills couldn’t even find someone who could snap the ball. Kraig Urbik will be under center for at least two games, but if the Bills are going to win out they will need Wood back as soon as possible. As unlikely as it is now, the Bills need to win every game if they want any chance of ending their playoff drought. Lucky for them likely their weakest opponent, St. Louis, is one of the two games that Wood will be missing.
