Fans Shouldn’t Pack In Their Bags Yet

The season may look all but over now, but in the next few weeks that all could change. There is a complete lack of optimism when it comes to fans, largely because the way some of the Bills losses have come this season. However with a 4-7 record and their remaining schedule, there should at least be some hope.

The Bills schedule is incredibly weak, something fans were looking forward to at the beginning of the season. This week’s matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have had a forgettable season. Although Chad Henne has given the team some life the Bills should be the favorite this weekend.

Following this week the Bills take on the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, and the New York Jets. Of all these teams the Seahawks are the strongest, but the Dolphins beat them just last week. The Jets are in shambles, the Bills have already beaten Miami, and St. Louis is no powerhouse.

With the AFC being quite weak this season, it is not out of the question to think that a 9-7 or 8-8 team could sneak into a playoff spot. With the Steelers injuries and the struggles of some of the other teams in the hunt the Bills should not think that their season is necessarily over. Although it is highly unlikely, the playoffs are still very possible.
