Well if you haven’t heard yet, The Bills game has been announced as blacked out for this week against the Jags. Not really surprising as the Bills are no longer in Playoff contention and the Jags are not doing very well either. This leaves the question open as to whether the rest of the Home games will be blacked out? More than 15,000 tickets still remain for this game and the Jets game. 10,000 tickets still remain for the Rams home games, which leaves a possible two more games that will be televised, the one in Toronto against the Seahawks and the away game in Miami. This leaves another question as well what are the chances that Buffalo stays in Buffalo at the end of their contract with Erie County. The Bills and Erie County were able to come to a lease agreement before the season started but it was only for a 1 year extension. Next year could be the last year the Bills are in New York. Although as of early in the NFL season, the Bills and the County began talks to put into place a long term lease on The Ralph. The only real big issue is a 200 million price tag that is needed for renovations that The Ralph is in need of and where that money is going to come from. What it comes down to is the Bills need to field a viable team and show major improvement from last year. Even without a playoff berth, this can still happen, but they need to win out and finish with a 9-7 record.
