What can you make of these Buffalo Bills? Underachievers? Overrated? A-team-stuck-in-a-blackhole-of-misery-with-no-light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel-and-no-ladder-to-get-out? Whatever the case, Jacksonville visits Orchard Park this weekend and the fans of Jaguars have something in common with Bills fans: home games are being sold to foreign markets.
Player to watch out for: LB Paul Posluszny
The polish linebacker with the gigantic neck left 2 years ago because the Bills were switching to a 3-4 defense. He didn’t want to leave, especially to another basement dweller, but his skills would have been under utilized as a 3-4 defender. His skillset lies in the 4-3 defense. He has said this publicly, not only when he was let go, but this past week as well. Considering Buffalo’s current group of linebackers, Poz would be an instant upgrade. It will be interesting to see if Posluszny plays with an extra intensity this weekend.
What Needs to Happen This Week: Play for the fans
The players haven’t given up, but with 15,000 empty seats for Sundays match it seems like the fans have. The Bills aren’t mathematically eliminated, but lets face it, they’re done. My plea to the Bills for the rest of the season. If you aren’t going to tank, please show some life. Show something tangible. Show the fans the Bills aren’t that far off from completing the puzzle. Show anything, because it’s still 9 months away until a new football season begins again.
