Buffalo Bills Overreaction Mondays

A big win in Prime Time followed by a loss by the Indianapolis Colts against the Patriots and all of a sudden, despite their record, the Buffalo Bills have hope once again. Sitting at 4-6 fans are talking about how the schedule will soften down the stretch and how Buffalo COULD potentially make a run. Well, it has to start first this coming Sunday with a win against the Colts and then we can possibly talk about the boys in Blue making a run.

What Happened:

Buffalo scored 19 points in the first half Thursday night and then the Dolphins defence shut them down in the second half, not scoring a point, but the Bills did what they had to do to keep hope alive. They won. Hope is all Bills fans have to hold on to right now because reality needs to sink in, Buffalo is below .500 on the season and need a number of breaks to go their way.

One break has already happened as Ben Roethlisberger went down for the Steelers and the result saw Pittsburgh’s offense sputter against the Ravens. Another break happened when the Patriots steamrolled the Colts, making Andrew Luck look like the rookie he is in the loss.

What to Look Forward to:

This coming Sunday. If there is one game the Bills need to do to keep hope alive, is win this Sunday. There is no alternative. A loss can all but eliminate the Bills, while a win brings them within a game of the wildcard, despite being below .500. Hope is all a Bills fan wants at this time of the year and now the Bills control their own destiny and will prepare for the biggest game of the season.
