Awards: Bills/Patriots

If there was a game that is going to keep you on the edge of your seats at the end of the game this would be the one.  Chan Gailey made a statement to the effect that the Bills needed to finish against the Patriots.  Did they?  They did not finish.  Fitzpatrick and Graham were on different pages for the last offensive play for the Bills resulting in an INT and ending the game.  The Bills did not play completely terrible minus the penalties but not all the penalties were correct calls either.  The defense had some questionable calls and lack of tackling on some plays but the wide-right award is going to the Refs in this game for the three missed pass interference calls that really cost the Bills early on.  Spiller and Jackson were really the players that held the team together.  Jackson did have 2 fumbles but only lost one and Spiller had another great game.  Spiller is this week’s Buffalo Nickel recipient.  Should Fitzpatrick lose his job over this week’s game?  The Bills put up over 420 yards on offense and but he played well enough to keep his job for another week based on the coaches reactions and moves so far this year.  Even after this loss the Bills are still in control of their future and if they win out, this being a big if, they can go 10-6 and have a possibility of making the wildcard.  Of course this does require help from the rest of the AFC but the Fins did lose this week.
